First Birthday mini-Party!

When my mother heard that I didn't intend to give Gabriel a first birthday party, she called and asked if she could throw one.  Of course, I said yes, and offered the party supplies I'd purchased (before deciding not to throw a party).  So Gabriel had a mini-party after all... We grilled burgers and dogs and made homemade ice cream, along with cake.  The older kids had fun with a water balloon fight and water gun fight!  Gabriel enjoyed his presents too!
